Please use bike lanes when available and comply with local cycling laws. Riding on sidewalks is not permitted.

What happens if I ride a Kick in a restricted area?

Entering a restricted area may trigger alerts, speed reduction, or cause the Kick to slow down or shut off to prevent it from traveling further into the restricted zone. You may be unable to continue your ride or end the ride until the Kick is returned to an approved service area shown in the app. Riding or leaving a Kick in a restricted area may result in violations of local traffic or municipal rules, fines, or additional charges, for which the rider is responsible.

Rental time starts when tapping “start ride” and ends when tapping “end ride” in the app within the service area. If the vehicle is in the restricted area, the ride cannot be ended until returning to the service area.

Yes, you can rent up to 4 vehicles at a time per account.

Where and how should I park a Kick?

Park the Kick upright using the kickstand on a hard, flat surface, preferably near the curb, and only in permitted areas. Ensure the Kick does not obstruct sidewalks, curb ramps, entrances, driveways, or pedestrian access. Follow all in-app parking instructions.

Where can’t I park a Kick?

Do not park a Kick in a way that blocks fire hydrants, driveways, curb ramps, entrances, sidewalks, pedestrian pathways, or pedestrian flow, including access for individuals using wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, or other mobility or assistive devices. Parking may also be prohibited in certain plazas, parks, beaches, loading zones, or restricted areas as shown in the app.

What happens if I cannot end a ride?

If you are unable to end a ride due to being in a restricted area, return the Kick to an approved service area to avoid continued charges or potential fines. Report any technical issues immediately through the Kick app. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

What happens if I leave a Kick inside private property or restricted area?

Leaving a Kick on private property or in a restricted area may result in a pickup or recovery fee of up to $250, plus applicable processing fees. Riders are also responsible for any local traffic, municipal, or enforcement fines that may result from improper parking.
